Ad omne opus bonum paratus
Entrusted to Our Lady and centered upon the Most Holy Eucharist, a new Traditional European foundation of Norbertine Canonesses will be established. In fidelity to the spirit of St. Norbert and the Rule of St. Augustine, we seek to live a life of solemn liturgical prayer, Eucharistic adoration, Marian devotion, and the common life in charity.
About the new foundation
In the heart of Europe, where the Christian faith once flourished so richly, a new foundation of Norbertine canonesses seeks to take root in fidelity to the ancient traditions of the Church. Within the quiet walls of an existing abbey, a group of European young women hopes to begin a life entirely dedicated to God in prayer, silence, and praise.
This foundation is something unusual and beautiful: it does not begin with an already established community, but with young women who feel called to respond generously to God and to help build a new religious house from its very beginning. Together, they desire to give their lives to Christ and to establish a place where He may be loved, adored, and glorified without ceasing.
The abbey that will welcome these European young girls offers the silence, beauty, and stability that are essential to the cloistered life. Within its walls, the rhythm of the liturgy will sanctify the day, and the praise of God will rise continually from the hearts of those who have given their lives entirely to Him.
This new foundation begins in humility, with trust in Divine Providence. Like so many religious houses before it, it is born from a simple desire: that Our Lord Jesus Christ may be loved, adored, and glorified without ceasing. The new community pray that their hidden life of prayer will become a source of grace for the Church and for the world.
Entrusting this foundation to the maternal care of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the young girls who will begin this journey, asking only the grace to remain faithful to the call of God.

Norbertine Canonesses especially fulfill the contemplative dimension of the Norbertine vocation. They have as their model the Blessed Virgin Mary, in the hidden heart of the Church, praying in the upper room for the gift of Holy Spirit to renew the whole world.
